CHAPTER 1
You brush your way past the fog with your weapon drawn. As you descend you hear a horrifying scream that sounds like a man being quartered. The piercing sound of a screaming animal follows, like hot iron on cold water, it chills you to your core.
You descend further, climbing down through the rocks. But you can only see but an arm's length away from you, and the smell is making you sick.
Something grabs your leg!
It is the corpse of the minotaur!
The creature falls and becomes dust; blowing away with the wind.
You jump down. The fog seems to be clearing...
You see now... a clearing stretches before you. You hear the same scream you heard before, but now it is much farther away.
You are now in what is known as the Red Rock Valleys - the Valleys of Many Bloody Daggers: passages carved unto the red rock that sinously flow, culminating into the Gate of Arrows, the only way to the King's Lands that is known.
You see that the clearing ends abruptly, leading into a massive wall; The dirt road leads into a gate carved unto the rock, next to it you see some signage, saying that the road leads to the "INN OF THE SMOLDERING BOAR" and "TOWNSHIP OF ORLIN".
The hoofprints of the horsedemon burn deeply on the following that path.
To your left, you can only follow the wall upon your right.
You see a lake on your right and down a great ways, through some brush and slope.
